    browser or OS that has the issue. It's a crap shoot since the user didn't
    leave any details.

    if only you could open up the user editor and see his email address and email him about it. no, better to ask on a msg network about YOUR bbs.

    Did you miss the post where nelgin said the user didn't have a proper email address?

    Nope, seems to be working fine when I click it. Maybe it's a specific browser or OS that has the issue. It's a crap shoot since the user didn't leave any details.

    I sometimes use ftelnet to access my DOS bbs. Normally, that red bar goes
    away when you return to the browser window. I can only rememeber one time where it didn't and, as the caller suggests, it disconnected me when I
    clicked on it.

    Since it happened to me on a non-Synchronet BBS, I suspect it is something
    with the ftelnet code and not Synchronet or ecweb. I also wondered if it didn't mean, in that instance, that the BBS connection had been
    disconnected from ftelnet which caused the red bar not to go away when I
    came back.

    He may very well have done so and I just missed it.

    i think he changed it and then went back to ftelnet because people kept calling it ftelnet.
    the f is ftelnet is for flash i believe.
