The ones that care(d) were always glad I'd make them aware of the issues...

I am fairly certain I've never seen a sysop truly fix anything other than obtaining new hardware when that is the issue. As far as software bugs go it is usually someone else who fixes it.

Sometimes it was a configuration issue, and that the sysop could fix...
and when it was a software bug, the sysop can pass it along to the
author... ;)
