Want to thank you for putting up that SGMail FAQ with all the info I
was looking for. Mostly have it set up & may attempt to fire it up with
my TG/2-JAM setup to see what happens.

I'm glad you found it useful! I almost didn't do it but I figured someday someone somewhere would find it useful and the time I spent joggin' the ol' noggin would be worth it.

Not only did I find it useful...but several more have as well. I got a BIG mouth & tell everyone in my small circle about anything I use like this.

Don't laugh but with 24 years of working with OS/2 from a sysop perspective,
I like to share what I learn. It makes me feel better when I realize just
how much of my life I've wasted on a BBS, heh-heh.

I've spent almost 40 years working with all types of computers & I would not call it a waste...but a redirection to not to deal with a nagging spouse that I'm not paying enough time/attention to them.

While I have your ear...any way to get TG/2 3.09 to import an AREAS.BBS from
FE 1.46? Finally increased the number of message/file bases to around 300
after several hours today...but with FE2TG 1.02...it will only import around
10 bases...then errors out. Don't mind putting the bases in by hand...but the 8.3 issue shows up on the name...while with FE2TG...it doesn't. Got any workaround?

No, not that I know of. I had always manually set up all of my message areas directly in TG/2. It's been the better part of a decade since I last touched TG/2. You might ask Kevin Nunn (I don't know if he's hanging around in here; check over in OS2 in Fidonet or MIN_COMP in Micronet) as he is actively running TG/2.

I remember that was the same situation back in the day as well with the 2.* versions.

Will do that this evening after work.

Was playing around with Lora last evening. I put the AREAS.BBS in the folder
& imported it. All 200 bases went right in. Just gotta find out if there's a key available for it or what the situation with it is. Might run that if I
    can get this info.

Talk to Robert Wolfe. I've seen him post in Facebook that he's been messing around with LoraBBS (the full C++ source code is available) and he might be able to compile you a freeware version or even possibly generate a key. I
may have a keygen laying around here somewhere.

We talk quite a bit...especially to see if a new version of Mystic for OS/2 & such will ever be out. ;) Will certainly do so to see what he can come up
    with.

If either of you have a keygen available...that would be fantastic. Was
looking the other night at the "free" version of Lora...but it's only for Windows 32-bit. Believe it was the sysop over at Prison BBS who was also looking for this keygen as well.

After getting mad & watching TV...then discovering if I use my DDNS address with the port #...was able to connect.

    Thanks again!
