Hi.. One of the "Lurkers" here. I hope everthing works out in Ontario for you. These storms just keep coming and coming. It certainly makes one wonder what the heck is going on. ;-( Please be safe.

Thanks for the voice of hope. But Steve in Wisconsin seems to be getting too much rain all at once, plus "winter weather" is *still* being forcast. Not a normal progression into May/showers sofar.

Conversely, (Pensacola FL) looks like you're in for a *great* string of weather
up to Saturday when you will get some May showers.

It's raining again here in my little town for the 4th day in a row. River levels are well past the normal spring levels. Many riverside homes are flooded, no hydro power (therefore no sump pumps), sandbag efforts seem futile.

My home is in an area of good ground drainage and is set at a safe level from a
    nearby lake.

It has been a stormy spring in Arkansas...with the southeast part of
the state practically drowning in all the rainfall...but it has washed a
lot of the pollen out of the air.

Ironically, Arkanas has had only 5 tornadoes so far this spring, way
below normal...and we're not complaining. However, dozens of tornadoes
have occurred across Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia...with over 70 in Alabama alone.

And, it's just over a month until the start of the Atlantic Hurricane
    Season.
