    Apparently, if you delete the message in Telegram, it still makes it through to Fido. I tried to make the custom subject, and accidentally sent before adding comments.

    Yes.. the gate is very fast. It's not unlike after posting on
    a regular BBS or using email. When you hit S)end, you are
    committed. Besides there is no delete echomail message in FTN.
