Very well vould be. But cooking for one (mostly) I find that the
Pillsbury Dough Boy's biscuits in a tube are a lot easier and less
    messy.

Sure. We bought a can of those for a project with the grandson,
neither he nor I liked the pillsbury ones. They are pretty easy to
make from scratch I timed myself at under 5 minutes from start to oven.
My aunt (or something like that) from Texas could make them in about
    15 seconds somehow. LOL

Well, when I budget the time to dig out all the pans, tools and ingredients
Ill need and the time to clean up the mess it's a lot easier if not as
tqsty to do the store bought.

    mother (my S-I-L) whinging "Where's mine?" I think it's a keeper.

    Nice.

That note, of course, was from the recipe's author. I'm sort of
colour- blind in the range of GF flours.

Yes I saw that, I was just commenting in case anyone else was going
    to make them.

had got-up-and -went. Bv)= Unless you are baking a lot sourdough is
a *lot* of maintenance. and I've got enough learning experiences
lined up to last the rest of my days. Bv)=

I know people say once you get in the habit of keeping it alive it is
not a lot of work. I just can't be bothered either, I have some of my mother's starter in the freezer where it's "sleeping" until I need it. I'll have to call her today and ask what it's name is as I've forgot.

Mom doesn't bake anymore as she says she's too old (about your age) and she's busy looking after the old man who has early dementia so I can
only imagine how tired she is.

That's sad. My grandmother pretty much "lost it" her last year. She missed
bein 100 by just a few days. But it was a relief when she did go. I hope something takes me before I get in that situation. My pulmonologist was hectoring me about my refusal to use a BiPap when sleeping. "You could
die in your sleep" he argued.

"Doc, I'm 82. That's my preferred way to go." I returned.

Something else you can do while you sleep .... (no, not that)

Yeah he has good days and bad days. On the really bad days I get a txt
from Mom that normally says "Call your father." which means she needs a
break, he can tell me the same story 15 times in a row and that makes
him happy. He could call me, but even before he went "off" he doesn't
    make phone calls. <shrug>

Agreed. I mean... that should be anyone's preferred way. :)

Just go to sleep and not wake up. Preferably in a bed, not whilst in a
vehicle on a mountain road. Bv)=
