It was a joyous night in Livingston parish, a rural area in
Louisiana. The crowd screamed and cheered. A fire truck sounded
its horn in approval.

A 24-year-old singer from California came in second. A 17-year-old
high school student from New York came in third.

What does he plan to do after winning the title?
Share a big pot of "Jambalaya" with his friends and family
on the bayou, just like Hank Williams did in his day ...

Who cares? It's a game show, and all the contestants had a great
time! In my view, each and every one of them was (and is) a winner.

Elvis Presley was a truck driver, who had a great talent for music.
And we know where that music took him.
