The novel coronavirus is taking its toll.

The NBA has suspended indefintely the rest of its basketball season.
Although the season has not been officially cancelled, for all
practical purposes it is over.

The NCAA has decided to allow colleges to have its "March Madness"
basketall tournament - but with no fans to watch the teams play.
Why did the NCAA choose not to do what the NBA did? 90% of its
revenue comes from the NCAA basketball tournament, that's why.
But without any fans to attend the games, what is the point?

Hockey will soon follow suit. The NHL is expected to make an
announcement tomorrow morning. And then baseball, with MLB to
do as the NBA and NHL. Oh what will this world be like without
sports? We shall soon find out ...
