* Britain banning all Russian air traffic from its airspace, no more flights
into Heathrow and Manchester.
In retaliation Russia has banned all overflight rights for Britain but is
not going to impact operations a lot as current day modern airliners
(meaning not the Russian produced ones) have enough endurance to make the
trip in one go not overflying Russia. A lot of companies were doing that
already.

* Poland and Czechia closing its airspace for Russian aviation

* Delta Airlines suspended its codeshare with Aeroflot out of Los Angeles and
New York

* Aeroflot kicked out of the SkyTean alliance

* Manchester United cancelled its sponsor deal with Aeroflot

* KLM & Air France reducing flights to Moscow to just one (in order not to
lose overflight rights)

Further to that the International Olympic Committee urged all associated sports federations to cancel all sports activities on Russian soil.

Chelsea and Schalke 04 are canceling their Gazprom sponsorship deals.

The final of the Champions League is moved from St.Petersgurg to Paris

Refusal for the Russian football team to participate in UEFA and FIFA competitions is being discussed

Russia excluded from Eurosong ...

Silly as some may seem, they are important stingers and a message which will be noticed by the ordinary Russians burdened with a shitload of propagande ...

Russia's #1 ranked tennis player in the world will miss Wimbledon.
Putin won't mind, since he does not play tennis and that tennis player
does not like war.

In retaliation Russia has banned all overflight rights for Britain but is
not going to impact operations a lot as current day modern airliners
(meaning not the Russian produced ones) have enough endurance to make the
trip in one go not overflying Russia. A lot of companies were doing that

Getting from Britain to NZ can always be done via the Arctic route
by flying over the North Pole. You do realize the Earth is Flat.

Sanctions have also been placed on Belarus. So flying over Russia
would be next to impossible anyway.

To date, FIFA has done nothing to disallow the Russian team from
competing, or from cities in Russia hosting qualifying matches.

Russians who sing songs of protest against the war are being
arrested and sent to gulags.

Silly as some may seem, they are important stingers and a message which will

State-owned media informs Russians what Putin wants them to know.
With no free press, ordinary Russians are unable to know what is truly
going on in the world. Even social media is controlled, or limited.
And yet, many Russians do find out what is happening. And are being
arrested and jailed. Some being sent to faraway places, never to be
seen or heard from again.

Russia has become the largest rogue state in the world ever due to its leadership, not the citizenry.

Russia is moving towards being a full-fledged dictatorship. If it
has not reached that point already. The people of Russia are victims,
and can do nothing to change this.

For two days now I've been unable to wrap my mind around this ...

Poland and Sweden refusing to play Russia in FIFA playoff qualifiers.
And to think FIFA is allowing such qualifying matches to even be held
in Russia.

With the main event coming up this November, maybe FIFA should just
invite Russia by default. And then Russia will claim victory as no
other country's team will take the field to play.

Let's not forget that ESA has put a halt to further launches of Russian Soyuz ST rockets from French Guiana, which will severely cripple Russia's space program.

Russian Soyuz ST rockets from French Guiana, which will severely cripple Russia's space program.

Plus the threat of making the ISS crash, coupled to the hardly veiled nuclear threat ... man ... probably tomorrow I will wake up and nothing will have happened, Kennedy was not murdered, there never was a Berlin Wall, no 9/11, no Taliban ... all a bad dream ...

And in the meantime the population in Afghanistan is still starving ...
