Hey Uncle!
Whatever happens to -> Ð, Ñ, Ò, Ó <- impacts fts-5003.001 wrt utf-8 characters,
as well as 0x8d for the acceptable 8-bit character encodings of which only the
iso-8859-x encodings escape this particular long standing bug of much abandonware still in use within this fine hobby.

Hey Maurice!
I won't bother quoting back the corrupted characters, nevermind the additional linefeeds someone's tosser decided the original required. Ignoring the lame DOS-think word wrapping, it can be easily demonstrated that the 0x8d trailing bytes of the legitimate utf-8 encoded characters all got deleted from the original which *should* be sufficient evidence to suggest that there is a very serious problem.
What exactly is the job of the FTSC?
