Can you send on of these messages in the e-test area so mark can
see the results and we'll know if anything bad is happening at my
node?
Can you send on of these messages in the e-test area so mark can

node?
Yes I can but first I'd like to take tonight off.
Secondly is the format more or less what we're looking for?
Thirdly all three paths of just one at a time? I found the three at a time very confusing and have not gotten a handle on it. Some of
mark's quoted characters were tampered with (dropped trailing bytes)
even though he claimed they were good at his end. I'd like to cross reference those and see if it was something between that deleted them
and not at his end.
I think this might take a little more activity to narrow this down so
the e-test echoarea should be the way to go. Also I need to check if
I have access to that echoarea from the EuroPoint. Give me a day and
I hopefully will be better prepared than I was for this initial test
of FTN-ish triangulation. Seems like it should be of assistance.

That's discouraging!

I think the e-test area is more or less the net 3634 test area, so it's
on the backbone but available to those who link at 1:3634/12 (is thatright
mark?).
If we could get interested parties linked there (or another
suitable area) we could get some facts together.
it happens after your node, AFAIK...
your 153/757 is running hpt, correct?
wilfred's 280/464 is a known good entity...
it isn't 154/10, either... the short path came through there...
it isn't my main system, 3634/12 since all the mail for this point
comes via there...
that leaves 153/250 and 770/1...
153/250 is running Mystic 1.12A42
not sure what 770/1 is running... it answers with binkd...

Yes. Have you seen UTF-8 encoded messages pass through 1:153/757

770/1 is running Fastecho. I believe FE is also a known good entity, although it strips seen-bys when tossing to an out of zone link.
Change is brewing there but it hasn't happened yet.
770/1 is running Fastecho. I believe FE is also a known good entity, although it strips seen-bys when tossing to an out of zone link.
FastEcho also has a problem with the .PKT forwarding function.

FastEcho also has a problem with the .PKT forwarding function. I sent details to Tobias Burchhardt a few months back, but he wasn't hopeful
that he would be able to fix it.
