Hi Fred, I think we need another week to give Z2 contenders time to settle out who is running. I do not want to unfairly omit any of them.

Ok with giving them a bit more time? It's not like we have a mandated document for times. We can change it now that we know it took us a little longer to get the folks over things and talking.

Nominations open until 24 Nov work?

    NO!!!!

I resigned as administrator and now I want to get rid of any remaing duties ASAP. It would have been fine with me to drop the links and hand over ftsc.org to Andrew tonight. Unfortunately you were nominated and accepted and now I have

to keep my promise to 'leave the link as is" for ANOTHER MONTH! :-(

Adding yet another week is too much. :-(

    Cheers, Michiel

    1) It's not really a zone thing
    2) Someone should nominate Michiel, although I don't enjoy what he did to me,
he still ran the shop in an excellent way ...
    3) Or Kees Van Eeten ... I know of no other more technical a-political person
than him... hmmm ... maybe Joacim Melin ... and Markus.

Everyone had the same amount of time to nominate a candidate.

Those with time management skills would have started their search back on October 31st, when Michiel announced he was stepping down.

Ok with giving them a bit more time? It's not like we have a

It's not my decision. I'm following the rules drafted by the FTSC members. You should have spoken out then, not after the election was underway.

No worries! If there would be any suitable candidates from Z2 we would have nominated them already. And possible candidates we've asked declined to be nominated. Let's proceed with the schedule as planned.

than him... hmmm ... maybe Joacim Melin ... and Markus.

Markus declined. So far, we stand with me and Dallas. There's been an open call in the FTSC to see if any others wanted to try but I am worried the short nomination phase may have some who would like to run, not realize it's set to close out today.

Even Dallas reminded me to accept (he'd not seen I already had yet as messages are passing fast).

ElectionCoordinator hasn't ack'd my acceptance yet either but it may be enroute still to my pickup.

I agree there are others who could be very good indeed but I can't do more than suggest a few days more. MVDL already said he's not in favor of that.

For the rest, of those who have posted about it, the FTSC has a 100% agreement to sensibly delay the next regular member election until after this
coordinator set is over. We might hear some dissent later on just when, and will work with it but it seems pretty solid the next set for that will be sometime in the spring. The new Coordinator will announce it.
