    Hello, All!

This little project has received several small improvements and one big change, which requires a special announcement.

    Small changes:

    1. Thanks to bug reports from Vincent Coen (2:250/1), some nasty bugs in my binkp implementation were fixed. I hope that everyone will see fewer errors in log files.

    2. https://nodelist.fidonet.cc website is mostly blocked in Russia. It's blocked on all mobile networks and on many landline networks. I highly doubt that this happened because of my political position or because someone thinks that Ukrainian drones operate via this website :) Probably just because some lazy guy at Roskomnadzor (censorship agency) blocked most of the websites in Oracle Cloud.

For those poor souls in Russia, I've got a mirror: https://nodelist.5001.ru

If someone wants to congratulate a sysop who has an anniversary of being in the nodelist, there is a report ("On This Day") specially created for such purposes:
    https://nodelist.fidonet.cc/analytics/on-this-day

    Big change:

The software now calls nodes all around the globe via modem. The calls are very rare and strictly limited to the allowed calling times. I hope this won't annoy too many people. Please note: this is done just for informational purposes only !!!

    Best regards,
    dp.

    I have a simple question:

What interval time for update information (example: if detected a new node), because my bbs is a new node in region 4.

    Thanks

First your node number should be in the nodelist, and it's not yet.

So get your NC/RC and ZC to create segment updates and send it up the chain.

    Bye, Wilfred.

Hello Mauro, Welcome to Fidonet! ;)

All nodelists information from Zone 4 (Latin America) are updated every Wednesday. I have uploaded our Region 80 nodelist with your information on last Wednesday (when I activated your node), so the nodelist will be updated by next Wednesday cycle.

You can check the nodelist history over the web at http://nodehist.fidonet.org.ua.

    Regards,
    Flavio

Yeah, this one I notified the sysop and he changed his FQDN - update should come at the next nodelist update.

    4:801/202 baffa.zapto.org - Error: Cannot getaddrinfo -

I will check on this one.

Happy to help! By the way, there is a small issue with your origin line:

    * Origin: Telesc BBS - Urussanga/SC - Brasil (4:801/205) (4:801/205)

You probably will have to remove one of the node address from text box.
