I assumed this to be an Echo available to the "general public." I don't see what my operating system has to do with anything. I believe I'll simply make this available as a pass-thru and gain any IPV6 knowledge or insights from elsewhere on the internet or books. Thanks.

    Marc

Sure. it is available to the general public. You are welcome here.

I don't see what my operating system has to do with anything.

Well... in general, sysops that present themselves in this echo seek assistance in making their system available via IPv6. I assumed you were interested in joining the Fidonet IPv6 club. Was that a wrong assumption?

The fact that not all OSs in use in Fidonet support IPv6 is relevant IMNSHO. That is why I mentioned it.

FYI there are tricks to make a Fidonet system available via IPv6 despite the fact that the OS does not support it.

I believe I'll simply make this available as a pass-thru and gain any
IPV6 knowledge or insights from elsewhere on the internet or books. Thanks.

Relax, I did not mean to scare you away.

    Cheers, Michiel

    PMFJI.. Never assume anything.
'Cuz it only makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me".

    Thanks.

Let me know when you add it then I can stick you in my AREAS.BBS file.
I'm currently getting this and a bunch of others you don't have from
    Wilfred.

I'm able to help you with what little ipv6 knowledge I have.

Good advice. Unfortunately never making assumptions does not work well in real life...

I assume you un an OS that supports IPv6. <DARF> ;-)

    What is that?

My OSes do accomodate IPV6, but my DLS and mobile do not.
