    Hello All,

I have made a change in the way nodes that no longer support IPv6 are displayed. Nodes that advertise IPv6 capability but who's IPv6 is not operational at the monent are flagged as 6DWN like before.

Nodes that no longer have an AAAA record attached to the host name(s) in the nodelist and so no longer advertise IPv6 capability are now flagged as NO6. If there is no life sign from the sysop, these nodes will soon be removed from the list.

    Cheers, Michiel

That makes sense, if there's no AAAA record, then one can presume no real attempt to make IPv6 accessible.

If there once was an AAAA record and it has gone now, that is not likely to be an accident. Assuming that removing IPv6 was a willfull act seems reasonable.

Agree on that count as well. I can't see any other reason an AAAA record would be removed.

I have confirmation from Chistian Sacks that he did indeed knowingly remove the AAAA record because his new ISP does not (properly) support IPv6 yet.

Nope. He wrote he didn't want to go through that hassle again...
