    Yes, loved that.
    In a similar storyline, one of the books of the Childe Cycle (starting with *Soldier, Ask not*, *Tactics of Mistake* etc), deals with the women left at home having to fight occupying forces.

    I?ll have to look those up. Finish the one I?m on first. TA White - not to be confused with TH. First series was a good mix of sci fi fantasy. But the series I?m on is an older one- writing not as good
