The problem is that the actuating switch is somewhat recessed
from the surface, maybe 1/4 to 1/8 inches. The one in the last
picture is one of five of those. I probably could use a stylus
pen to poke at the one I've exposed. My thumb is a bit too big
for the opening, and I don't really want to remove the rest of
the rubberized cover 'cuz the back/up/down/center "buttons" can
be actived fine as is.
The glue on electrical tape typically gets really soft when
warmed up and leaves a residue. Maybe I can jerry-rig
something like a spring-board usin good ol' duct tape with a
little bead on the end big enough to reach down to the button
on the circuit board.
