    Hi All,
    ...Greets from my Telegram app!

This is the kind of copy that makes we want to make sure that I put this book on a to-read list just out of curiosity.

It's classed as: "Young Adult Fiction / Family - General / Social Themes - Death, Grief, Bereavement / Social Themes - Emotions & Feelings, Ages 12+" ..but that's no matter. Even adults may find it a good read.

It's out from about 2018, but it's recently gaining more attention.

    A beautiful and distinguished family.
    A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends?the Liars?whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
    Lies upon lies.
    True love.
    The truth.

    Read it.

And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.

"Thrilling, beautiful, and blisteringly smart, We Were Liars is utterly unforgettable." ?John Green, author of The Fault in Our Stars

    Agreed, does look interesting.

It's classed as: "Young Adult Fiction / Family - General / Social Themes - Death, Grief, Bereavement / Social Themes - Emotions & Feelings, Ages 12+" ..but that's no matter. Even adults may find it a good read.
The first book I can remember reading which was only later classified as YA was Heinlen's "Have Spacesuit, Will Travel". I re-read it again recently and it still stands on it's own merits as a fantastic piece of literature.

I'm looking at that one right now. I like the humour at the
start about dad and his conversation with the agent from the
IRA. Being a fairly short story, I might tackle that one ahead
of The Star Beast; I am growing fond of the Flummox story
    though.

Basically, I *just* discovered Heinlein. I don't know why he
    never crossed my radar.

During highschool English it seemed that only "serious" books
were up for contention. Apparently Waiting for Godot was the
only "humourous" pick that I remember the teacher made - but I
hated studying that one. I also suppose that there was already
too much to read for English as it is - so no one had time to
read anything for fun and talk about it.
