What would you replace "going to the bookshop" and "going to get groceries" with? I have one entertaining customer who comes to the shop and speaks along those lines. "Hello kind sir" or "August of Bancroft" ..well you get the idea. I try to reciprocate in kind, but I think I need to read more fantasy action stories to have some cool phrases on file.

I have a large illuminated sign above the shop that I don't use. As a result it's blank. But, I have long imagined to at least add my logo and the words "YES! ..this is THE bookstore!" ..'cuz some people tend to confuse my shop with the one next door since our facades appear similar ..and I really don't have a sign that says "bookstore" anywhere except a small sign on the side of the building that reads "The Last Bookstore, 103km". The large sign could read, "THE Bookstore, aka The Repository of Arcane Wisdom. Feed your brain: read books."
