    Any chance it's on kindle?

I have jumped out of the Amazon wagon. My publisher used to have it there until it went out of business. Now I have placed everything in my own onlñine store.

I got kind of pissed off with the Kindle tooling back in the day so nowadays I release in open formats and let people convert them to whatever they want.

I have a bunch of short stories which I should be publishing already (since they are finished) and a novel in the works. Motivation for the novel is a bit low because my regular proofreaders are MIA and I have been working overtime in my regular business, so...

I can relate to that. I was supposed to produce at least one 'publishable' journal article since my PHD and 3 years later...nope!

Producing publisheable material is easy. THe hard part is publishing.

I always say that creating stories is awesoem, but publishing them is awful

Yeah. I made a business of it for twelve years. You can Google Just Done Productions to see various books we've published.
    It's not easy.

    Publishing!!! Not authoring ...
Why don't you move to the default for lazy academics .... "Collaboration". Geta masters student or two do most of the work and you do an intro and conclusion and voila...
