As long as your plan allows for that, since you don't use up your
minutes, it should save you money and hassle...

Its no real problem for me.
I'm set up for autopay and get a message I will be charged $19 and change
for the next quarter on whatever date.

wifi signal isn't available. Those times I'm on and right off again.

    That'll last you forever... <G>

    They should.

I spoke to someone else who said, "Oh, all your data time is gone". DUH. I brought more data, which I still am using, (something like $50
worth) and that was several years ago.

I'm really surprised (and a bit concerned) that the TracFone person
couldn't tell that you'd used up all your data, and that that was the problem...

The idea of my data time being gone never occurred to either me or the
woman with TracFone. It was only when I got the replacement and had the same problem and called the second time.
Data and sll that was still fairly new to me.
    Now I know better.
It's like when I got my first PC, a 286, replacing my Commie.
I would have some problem and run off to the repair shop and told "push
this button to correct the problem" and then slink red faced out of the shop.
Over time I learned more and now the only time I'm at the PC hospital is
for some problem I can't figure out on my own.

So all your minutes/data/etc transfered from one phone to the next...

    Yep.
Whenever I replace a phone that time goes with it.

It was basically the woman in IT was all for photographing violators.
I have one story I may have mentioned before.
I had just ticketed a car for a HC violation. I always took at least
    three photo's.
From the back with the car, stripes, signs, etc. Then from the front I showed the front of the car and the windshield, then a close up of the windshield and dash to show there was no hangtag visible. (This was in case the

This one woman came storming into the office ranting and raving she was
not parked in a HC space, there were no signs or markings, she wasn't even in the area she got the ticket, etc.
The photos were pulled up and not only was it her car but she was photographed getting something out of the backseat.
She wearing the same clothes, since only a few hours since it happened.
    Busted.
A few years ago the city started photographing all violators (mostly
meters) using the same front/back which included the expired meter only their photos are printed on the ticket as well as being sent to city hall.

cars GPS then it was turned off again.

That would be a useful use for it...

Like the time I was visiting you and Jim.
I had pulled into a shopping area and looked up the address for the restaurant and was told, something (paraphrasing) to the extent, "Its on the other end of the parking lot you twit". :)
