If they did, we are not aware of it. I am guessing they could have become

illegible before my father was even born.

You could check with the local library for an genealogy groups in your
area then check with them.
I'm sure if they don't know they would be interested. If not recorded it might be a good project for some wannabe genealogist. :)
With all the tools available today these shouldn't just be forgotten.
Even it nothing is done its recorded where it is, how many, etc.
If in a non-urban area it might save a lot of confusion later when
someone digs up someone by mistake. :)
