  • Can't get Mystic to locate cryplib

    I have downloaded and compiled cryptlib. I have it in the /usr/lib (which is in path). However, Mystic never finds it. I am not sure what to do to get mythic to start using cryptlib. Any help would be great.

    Additionally, I had to try compiling 3.4.6 in order to even get it to compile on Debian 11 64bit. 3.4.5 will not compile and errors out on some cpu type errors. So the 3.4.6 probably won't even work if Mystic did locate it ?

    Ok, so I tweaked the config on the compile and got 3.4.5 to compile. Now I'm just left with the issue of only syncterm and netrunner being able to connect via ssh. any terminal ssh, etc won't because of the handling of the security type.

    a little step closer I suppose....

    For cryptlib 3.4.5, which only supports 80-bit security, you might need to add "-c aes256-cbc" to the command line to allow the usage of older (CBC) ciphers which would otherwise be disallowed by your OpenSSH configuration.

    (See the man page ssh_config(5) for more information.)
