Sort of. There are a couple of nodes that exchange aminet (not AmigaNet) files,

and announce them in the AmigaNet File Announce area...

And there is the nodelist area, but I wouldn't call that a filebone. ;)

    Bye, Wilfred.

    Yes.

You can contact Dave Vandermeer (1:229/275), he's the Host for the North American Net in AmigaNet. He can give you a nodenumber and link. If you need his email address let me know...

Btw: Your nodenumber is (still) not in the FidoNet Nodelist...?

Nope, I've written emails to Janis months ago, and the NC for 216 (he also runs 2215) and he was busy or out of town. Janis directs me to him, and I tell her he's 'busy' so I stopped trying. I've had my BBSes up for almost a year, fidonet connected the whole time and I'm STILL not officially in the nodelist.

Rather sloppy...... Not how FidoNet was back in the day. Hell *I* was NC for 2215, and was around when it was born from 157 (NE Ohio..Cleveland/Akron/Canton area).

That's way too long. If you are that busy you can't get a new nodenumber in the

nodelist for a year. Maybe you shouldn't be the host...

There's a new ZC1 now: Nick Andre, maybe he can kick some butt? ;)

    Bye, Wilfred.

Totally agree. First time talking to him, I felt more like he didn't wanna be doing what he was supposed to be doing. He's made it more complicated on himself and even more for people wanting to join.

There's a new ZC1 now: Nick Andre, maybe he can kick some butt? ;)

I wrote Janis, she sent my mail to Andre and told me he would be getting ahold of me. Wasn't told WHEN, but hopefully sooner than later. After the BS I've gone through so far, I am kinda negative about the whole process...
