From Alan Beck@1:229/426.36 to All on Sunday, October 31, 2021 10:13:00
    Hello!

Why is there not a method of jumping from 1 message to the next using 1
    key while reading

There has there has to be one, makes no sense

    Enabling this: Config/Options/UnserInterface:

    ͻ

[x] The cursor will jump automatically to the
next message when exiting the previous one,
ready for it to be read.

    ...is a good alternative.

When you are reading a message, press F1 for further info:

     When reference links available
     (Maus, Fido):

+ Go to the next message in the
     reference link (if any)

     - Go to the original message in the reference
link (as long as it's still in the
     messagebase).

     Ctrl-Page-Up
     Jumps to the chronologically preceding
     message in the same Newsgroup.

     Ctrl-Page-Down
     Jumps to the chronologically following
     message in the same Newsgroup.

     Cursor-Left and Cursor-Right Toggles between
messages in the same reference link.

Ctrl-PgUP, and Ctl-PgDN isn't too bad at all, is it?

As you should already know by now, it's a simple matter of pressing Ctrl+PgDown whilst in the message reader. Do you have a problem with that?

There has there has to be one, makes no sense

However, I've redefined the Right-Arrow key to jump to the next message in the message reader by setting up a key macro: Config -> Keys -> Macros

WARNING: if you decide to play about with this feature, it's *VERY* easy
    to make a *BIG* *MESS*!

    Regards,
    Martin

Very powerful. Macros are another aspect of OpenXP that
    comprises "the adventure"! :D
