Categories: Fruits, Desserts, Beer, Breads, I scream
    Yield: 10 servings

    4 lb Mixed apples (1815 g)
    2 tb Apple cider vinegar
10 sl Bread of your choice
1 c (packed) dark brown sugar
    - (220 g)
    2 ts Cinnamon divided
    3/4 c Melted butter divided;
    - (170 g)
    1/2 c IPA beer
    3 tb White granulated sugar
    Vanilla ice cream or your
    - favourite flavor

    Set the oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.

    Spray a large 9" X 13" X 2" baking pan with cooking
    spray.

Cut the bread into 1/2" cubes. Peel, core and slice the
apples into 1" thick slices. Toss the apples with the
    apple cider vinegar.

Spread half the apples into the bottom of the baking
pan. Sprinkle the half the brown sugar and 1 teaspoon
of the cinnamon over the apples.

Spread half the bread cubes over the apples. Drizzle
half the melted butter over the bread cubes and apples.

Then layer on top the bread the remaining apples and
brown sugar. Drizzle the beer over the apple filling.

Take the remaining bread cubes and place in a bowl (you
can use the one that held the apples if you want).
Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon over the bread cubes,
then drizzle with the remaining melted butter and toss
    to coat.

Spread the buttery spiced bread cubes over the top of
the apples. Sprinkle the sugar over the top of the bread
cubes, then cover with foil. Bake in the oven for 45
minutes. Remove foil, and bake 15 minutes more or until
the top of the bread cubes are brown and toasty.

Serve with vanilla ice cream or your favorite flavor of
    ice cream.
