    If I'm not mistaken a new registration for the server version will work with V3. Don't take my word for that, email and ask but that is my understanding.

    When you purchase the regs for the TWGS, they will also include the regs to the old vers 3 tw, at least that's what they did when I registered.

    Are you still accepting registration for TW2002 V3? If so, how much does it cost to register the bbs door version of the program?

    I only sell and support TWGS, the stand-alone TW server. But if you register TWGS for $15 or more you can request a BBS door registration as well.

    I only sell and support TWGS, the stand-alone TW server. But if you register TWGS for $15 or more you can request a BBS door registration as well.

    Yes, the door is unsupported now. There'll be no new releases but the TWGS lives on.

    If you just want to access the door I think there are nodes that will connect you to their server. If you want to run your own game you'll need to register.

    Unfortunately, I don't think so. If you had registered version 2,
    the code worked for version 3. However, for Trade Wars Gold, I think
    it was different.

    jp was going to partner with some games company which was really just small potatoes. he had stars in his eyes. he probably thought he'd be making some decent money off of it again.
    around that time i was on their forums and they shit on me of course because i was being asshole, but also because i was a bbs user and they found that stupid.

    they found bbses that ran the doorgame stupid and jp suggested only
    running the newest version of the twgs.

    little did they realize that we were ALL running old shit nobody likes anymore. ---

    Some of the users like the old version better than the newest, that's why most of us have both versions available. I don't know why it would be a big deal to him, as most of us paid dearly for the old version.
