A feature does not seem to be working that was added some time ago. It used this dir in the subject to display a message before a door loaded. This would allow sysops to give special instructions if spicific door needed it for whatever reason.

For it to work you would name a file in \sbbs\text\menu\xtrn the same as
a doors internal code and sync would display it when the door was accessed. For example if you had a door with the internal code of lordt and you had a lordt.ans in the \sbbs\text\menu\xtrn dir it would display when a user accessed LORD Tournament.

Anyone else using this feature and if so can you reproduce the issue or is it just me?

I just created /sbbs/text/menu/xtrn/FORECAST.asc and it worked fine.

It did not workw ith FORECAST.ans

I did notice that the text in the FORECAST.asc was printed twice, however.
This is maybe a bug that needs looking into.

You would need a .asc or .msg variant of the menu file for *any* variant (e.g. .ans) to be displayed.

Try with a .msg or .asc file in place.

Odd, after changing to .asc it worked but i could not reproduce the dupe display of the file in question. I'm on a 32bit win10 OS.
