I found several articles in Fidonews about Universal Mayhem. There might be more. I only searched Google and the TOCs from 1987 to 1992. I haven't had the time to read them all, just skimmed a few. In Fidonews 744 there is the announcement for 2.0 and later a Version 2.3 and source code are mentioned.
