Yes it is definitely worth it, if nothing else to chat the SysOp! :D

Of course I was causing chaos there with the way I was connecting in.
(141x41 was my term's size) 80x25-80x30 is recommended. (And turn off
status line.)

How's did the BBS know? Querying cursor position? Why not just get
my screen size? Maybe that's a "modern concept" that we do today?

And I was using syncterm curses mode -- so I don't think it could set the
font -- I really wasn't getting the full experience.

But still very, very cool -- even without the font!

My list of ideas to things to try doing now has grown.

Even reminded me of old times: Friend's CNet (c64) BBS, you could display user's information with MCI(?) codes. I set the logoff message to
something like:

"Hey, call my new BBS. The number is &USER_PHONE_NUMBER. Call now!"

My friend called me up the next day to let me know he and his parents
were called by an angry user claiming they had been getting phone calls
all night and day from my BBS ad. We both knew they were wrong, but it
was easier to take the lumps then trying to explain how it worked, and
that it wasn't possible. Or if they were getting calls, it certainly
couldn't have been from the fake ad.

I was told tonight, too, that a new version of SkyRaiders - with a few suggestions from my video - went live. I gotta get by there to play a
bit m0re!!!

I didn't get a chance to try that one yet. Ran out of hours in the day.
But definitely on my list of things to do. More games to play.
