So, I've had my IP from Xfinity for almost 12 years unchanged. Wake up this morning before I left for work? Guess what, it changed. Hope it STAYS what it is ... had to scurry and update my domain name to point to the new addy before I left. Sigh. Why can't people leave shit alone? :)

Lucky You ..
Since I moved to Fiber from Cable, I can have 3-5 IP changes in a day while their servers load-balance.

I'll NEVER go back to cable again... cut the cord close to 10 years ago.

I have enough OTA / IPTV channels to play for "background noise" if needed.
