• GD - Pollution

    Hi

I've been thinking about the ore planets and industrial planets now being identical, and was thinking of making industrial planets give more
    credits, but also causing pollution.

Pollution could affect food planets produce, citizen reproduction and
    possibly other things.

    What do you guys think?

Sounds like an interesting idea. It could end up getting more involved throughout the game though.

There should then be some way for the player to decrease the pollution levels, such as having 'parks' or 'garden' planets. Otherwise, I could see the player reaching a point where they can't grow any further due to the pollution.

Perhaps you can sign an accord between interBBS systems like the world did
with the paris accord... then participating systems collectively benefit?
Just trying to think of some real world example where it may be a starter
    idea for the game? Dunno...

But I agree with your comments.

I think that is a very cool idea.

Pollution could actually get to the point where it begins to decrease the population.
