Well I didn't do much work at all on the wiki tonight but instead pulled down about 25 new songs for Total FM that I will work on adding to the station playlists for the coming week. I did some minor changes to a BBS list on the wiki but my heart wasn't in the headspace I needed so perhaps tomorrow or the day after I think.

IPv6 stuff is weighing on my mind at present so I think that will be next tomorrow night...

Hope everyone is well and keeping warm... getting colder here now and darker sooner as well... autumn, gotta love it .. ha!

    Best, Paul

I saw that change :) It's good to have several projects on the go, when you need a break on one, you can work on another. So what do you do on the radio station? Are you like the shock jock of Dunedin? Or is it just music? I'm listening to the new live album by arch enemy on spotify, it's pretty good. but might not fit your station :D

I imagine it would be pretty complicated. I don't know anything about IPv6 except that I don't have it. I should learn and add it to magicka but I can't really test it without IPv6 from my ISP.. or can I?

Been a bit cooler here, we had a lot of rain because of cyclone debbie, but nothing compared to other parts of the state where there was / is a lot of flooding.

IPv6 isn't rocket science. And yes you can test IPv6, you will need to setup a tunnel. he.net is quite a good tunnel provider if your ISP doesn't offer native IPv6 (native is best).

Cooler here too now, though the weather is fairly sunny during the day nand cold at night. :)

    See the reply from Tony.
If your provider does not support it, you can check with a tunnel provider.
I am using he.net (sixxs before they closed).
Works nicely as a stop gap until the provider supports it.

It's more complex then rocket science. ;) I have native IPv6 from my ISP, but after trying many firmware's including stock for my router, I can't get inbound working. I can pass all the tests on the website, but no one can telnet in on ipv6. That was 6 months or more ago, and I have given up.

That's not a fault of IPv6 or you, some routers are just brain dead. :( Mine was a piece of cake, I just had to open up the firewall for the BBS host (I chose to open all ports).

You can always try logging into bridge.vkradio.com on IPv6. :) Freeway doesn't (yet) support IPv6, but it does accept FTN mail on IPV6, as I'm using binkd for my mailer there. My addresses are:

freeway.apana.org.au (IPv4 only) - user access to Freeway
freeway.vkradio.com (IPv4/v6) - FTN mailer access to Freeway
bridge.vkradio.com (IPv4/v6) - user and mailer access to The Bridge.

Freeway is currently my main system for messaging, The Bridge is my main file repository, as it has better TIC processing, but I spend less time on that system these days.

There is, but I bought a router that can handle dd-wrt or open wrt
or anythign else. Problem is I just don't have the brain power anymore
to get it working. I /can/ get ipv4 operational, and ipv6 outbound is
    working as expected.

I played with it again yesterday and I'm leaning towards this being an
issue with the ISP, as I've followed every guide out there, and even had
some help in IRC in real time as I played.
