Has anyone ever ran WWIV/Windows on Linux/WINE? I know they have a Linux version of WWIV, but there are things that don't work right YET. I love WWIV and don't wanna change, so I figure, I could run the more stable Windows version (since there isn't a DOS version of WWIV(?))

I think there are OLDER versions of WWIV that just about have to run under
DOS. When I was first logging onto them, I don't think there were packages that only ran under Windows 3.1 that were as popular. :)

I am sure they would run under OS/2 as well ;)

Weatherman runs a very old version, and I like some of the things it has, I wish they would have kept them.....

Well it is still in development so maybe you can talk them into putting
    them back? :)

He's just finished doing alot of work, now her personal life is getting in
the way! So he's putting development on the backburner which sucks. One of
the reasons I started using it was the speed and all the things he's been revamping. I've started a new BBS and getting quite a few new callers tha
want to do the things that don't work on WWIV so... sucks. I really like that software
