If I could find eee's at a decent price, I would've invested in a few more despite their foibles. I've got a 701SD thats got the old celeron-M in it. But
for most things I've wanted to use it for its been rock solid. I found the keyboard a problem, after working on it a few times, I ended up dismembering the thing, I wasn't able to take a usb keyboard everywhere with me. I had plans
to mount it between 2 sheets of acrylic...but it retired before that happened.

Yeah mine were good machines while they lasted. They just eventually died. :/

Died completely, or had things like keyboard/video problems? Maybe I got lucky but I think this one might even survive a nuclear holocaust
