44 today, 44 today, no its not my birthday, just the forecast. Managed to survive Tuesday ok, the unit was pretty toasty but we ended up with a cool change late in the day, and the building hadn't had all that much time to get hot.

I think today is going to be more interesting, its been hotter more recently, its still 15 at 2am as I write this. Could be in for a hot night tonight. Could
be a good day for a trip to the shopping mall for the Air Con.

Made it to 45 here today. :) Fortunately, no fires in the local

There's no local reporting going on for temps here, but seeing as most got over, and Frankston is usually cooler, we probably hit 44 or 5... We ended up with a fire in seaford of all places.. suprised there's anything out there to burn. I think its actually the nature reserve that borders ballarto road that went up...

Buy yourself a weather station, mine ties in with Weather Underground
so you can get details on your PC or phone. It is really accurate

I have thought about that many times... they used to be a bit expensive though :/ At the moment I'm not sure where I could put it either. The unit isn't to friendly in that regard... hang it off the tree outside the bedroom window? :)
Will have another look...Would like to find one I can suck the current details
into the *nix box..
