with many machines being headless, it would be nice to be able to keep tabs in some sort of text based gui
hi there, I have a couple of feature requests perhaps for next version??
we have nodespy to watch traffic of callers, what about a nodespy
function (menu option in menus)
what I meant to say is a nodespy for binkd traffic so can see which network is connecting, what files how many blocked connections etc (like you can with mis -server)
I haven't really thought about adding something that would show the binkp connections in real time outside of using the MIS server itself. You
might be able to run MIS in non-daemon mode and then use something like "screen" to view the MIS status screen. Although I haven't investigated the different ways to do it, I do think this would be possible in Linux.

g00r00,
This is exactly how I run mine (TMUX).
I am glad to hear someone is actually doing this, because this has sort
of been my line of thinking lately. I think I may add all of the
Nodespy stuff into the MIS status screen (among other new ideas/things)
at some point.
Does it work well for you this way?

Works perfectly for me in screen.
I'm also happy to share my systemd init script if you like.
I am open to hearing any ideas you'd like to see in the MIS "WFC" screen if you have any, maybe that is something we can touch on it A45 too.
