Guys I have applied the same build to all three Mystic HUBs now so if you want to run some tests please feel free to do so.

    OK, here goes:

So, if you dont mind, I'm up for an experiment.

This message will have a long line in it (like the ones Oli has been sending), and will be exported from me to 2/100 and 3/100.

    Here it is: 01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234

    567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789

    0ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCD

    EF
(If I have done my maths and pasting correctly, it is 8 iterations of 36 chars 0-9A-Z - 288 chars, so breaking that 256 char limit that seems to be here.)

What I'm going to test, is that 3/100 does not send it to 2/100 - because 2/100

should already be in the SEEN-BY line. At the same time, 2/100 shouldnt try to send it to 3/100 (I'll watch to see if it comes in).

After the Hub's get the message, both 2/100 and 3/100 will export it to 1/100 and 4/100, so those 2 systems should see the second copy as a dupe - and it should be safely discarded.

The theory is - those on Hub 2 and 3 should not get a dupe at all - since the message should only be sent once to those hubs.

If you are on Hub 1 and 4, and you get a dupe, then 2 things are broken - your Hub sent you both copies (we should try and understand why), and your BBS imported it them (and if both copies were different, that would make sense - but otherwise if they we
As a bit of fun, any bets on who sends it to 1/100 and 4/100 first?

What I'm going to test, is that 3/100 does not send it to 2/100 - because

So confirmed - Hub 3 only sent it to 4/100 and 1/100 (as expected, since 2/100 should have already been in the SEEN-BY:

However, I got the message back from all 3 hubs (on 3/100)

I actually got the message here on 1/186 twice. Both of them seem to be cut short.

The one that made it into the message base had a path:

    2/116 100 1/100

The dupe that I received had a path of:

    2/116 3/100 1/100

    Hello alterego,

    Here it is: 01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUV WXYZ01234 567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0 123456789 0ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ01234567890ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ012345 67890ABCD EF

Is that the end of what you sent?

(If I have done my maths and pasting correctly, it is 8

    I dunno but I think it's a bit short..
