Has anyone played this game yet?

I just got it in the mail yesterday (GameFly) and was like - nice graphics! Feels like FALLOUT 4 to me a lot.
It takes place in the USSR, but all (main) voices are perfect English. What I noticed right off the bat is how they all say COMRADE. I doubt the voices are AI generated, but how they say the word makes me feel otherwise.
They pronounce it "com-RAID". So, I figured it was a futuristic (alternate universe) version of the word for the game telling or something. Or, maybe us Americans HAVE been saying it wrong since childhood - I mean, we only go off what we hear in the movies (unless some do go visit).

The first time your main character says it (again the English speaking character for me), he says, "com-RAD" like I'm used to.

drives me crazy!! pick one and stick with it!

That's a dialect difference, though I'm not sure if it's US/Commonwealth or NA/Elsewhere. Maybe some Canadians can chime in?

The word comes from the Spanish word camarada, which I think is pronounced
more closely to the American way. I'm sure a native speaker would have an opinion one way or the other.
