Do any of you have any experience with drones? I have been watching this for some time. Unfortunately my son didn't want a drone to play with when he was a kid, now he's grown up and I'm wondering if I should get a drone as a hobby :-)

There is now a requirement for a test (free of charge) that drone owners
and users must complete before they fly them for non-commercial purposes.
It's called The Recreational UAS Safety Test (or TRUST). Free training is available. Details are at:

Apparently, you can get into big trouble if you fly drones for non- commercial purposes, and you haven't completed this TRUST course.

Wife has one with a 4k camera we bought about 3+ years ago, so she's not
gotten it out and into the air in a while, but it was fun when we played
with it / flew it!
