THE VENUS CLOUD DISCONTINUITY HAS RETURNED: A tsunami-like wall of acid clouds last seen in 2022 has returned to the cloudtops of Venus. Amateur astronomers spotted it on July 17th. Unlike anything seen on other planets, the "Venus Cloud Discontinuity" may be spinning up Venus' entire atmosphere. Researchers hope amateur astronomers will help them monitor it in the weeks ahead.
