Looks like Apple is now testing the first update to Big Sur, 11.1. Hopefully this will fix any remaining issues and make it a safe upgrade for me.

I've been holding back from upgrading my primary machine until this minor update comes out just to be safe.

I'm sure it's safe. I usually update on release day, but that was back when I had two comps, a desktop and a laptop... so if one was borked it wasn't a big deal. But I'm a one comp man right now.... so I'm scared.

Sorry. Big Sur requires 2013 or later for the MBP.
