Joe,
He sent me a couple of pictures and one was a house with a power meter
hanging off the wall by a cord and a second of power lines across a car in a JM>drive way.
The picture was the electric meter ripped off the north side of the
house, with the wires on the car. The other one was the split power pole
across the street.
He's has no power the last I heard, the other day, and using local free
wifi to get out. He's thinking of just shutting everything down and all. JM>He's rather upset with the slowness of repairs, the insurance people debatin JM>if this or that is covered, etc,
The insurance company won't pay for the $950 motel bill (9 days),
because they still considered the structure as "livable", since there
was running water, and no other damage. To them, it's a catastrophe if
they have to pay a claim. But, people die in places where the apparent temperature is above 100 degrees.
I did consider throwing in the towel...and now, I have urinary bladder
stone surgery on the horizon.
In short, life is like a beaver colony...one d@mn thing after another.
