Possibly you overreacted there... I'd think that true friends and family might have well been exempt from the unfriending

I have only people I know as friends. The only messages I get are
from those on that list.
I will get "people you may know" show up and the vast majority of
them I have no idea who they are and ignore that.

I don't even do facebook... I've looked over shoulders or been shown
things on facebook, but I have no desire at all to get into it for
myself... :)

I still fall from time to time those click bait "quizzes" such as
"how much of this do you know/remember?" things. Those are a waste of time but I still find myself clicking those...

Another good reason to not be on facebook... so many more chances to
waste time... <G> I can waste enough time doing the quizzes that show
up from time to time in Fido echoes... ;)
