One thing you never mentioned was how to get it setup (have to get
it on a particular network). :)

Its actually quite easy. Most of it is just AT commands to set the SSID and the












































































































































































































































































encryption key. And as per the good ol days AT&W will save it. it, been a while, but the AT commands are covered in the Software docs, what I used is list at

Generally the proto boards will have a serial input attached already, so you just need to plug it into a USB port to be able to set the software before use.

I had a suspicion that it would have to be configured via serial.

While the programming interface is some kind of serial, it'll be USB specifically to connect it to, for power as well. Its carrying the converter on board as well.
