• Mystic File Base Question

From Patch@21:1/135 to All on Saturday, October 27, 2018 17:42:58
I am trying to add some new files to the BBS, some that I think would be of more interest to visitors.

In the File Base manager portion of Mystic settings, I have the physical path (raspberry pi) set as:/home/server/software/windows os apps/01 - new games/

I think that the pathing is wrong since when I attempt to upload files,
nothing happens. Can anyone lend a hand? =)

    Thanks in advance!

You should avoid spaces in the path. Instead of /new games for pc/ or whatever,
either enter /"new games for pc"/ or /new_games_for_pc/ and name the directory
    accordingly.

If I could explain that to my Past Self before he does it ... =)

I was wondering if the "" thing would work in the structure, since that works in CLI .. I'll give that a shot, thank you! =)

No I would expect not... I only use "" to show start and end of a quoted bit
    of syntax.

Yeah silly me had the file group set as a CD-ROM for some reason or another. I'm sure it was a mistake on my part since I was trying to tighten down security with certain files and such.
