Has anyone played with roaming profiles recently? I haven't since back about win98 Seemed like a great idea, but had trouble with them becoming corrupt. Can't tell you now what the distro was back then, but it was into a Samba server set as a PDC.

If I keep this nuc here, it might be handy to take a profile along with me, although I imagine like previous they;ll all want to be the same windoze versions

My roaming profiles experiments always ended with that one guy in marketing who
doesn't know how to use net.folders and put everything (including all of his music) on the desktop - then wondered why it took him 20 minutes to log on.
