I just read part of the mag just now, along with that message you
included from '92. I only recently got into the BBS scene, having been born in '96 and introduced into BBSing back around 2013 or so with a
game I had played a while back. It introduced me into some of the shit from back in the day, like phone phreaking and the warez scene. Reading that letter gave me flashbacks to the game and what made me come to finally enter the scene.
A lot of the "old magic" has been lost... unfortunately :( and it will never come back... so yep...NULL is also a way to remember those days. :)
For sure, each generation has its pros and cons, but let's don't forget that the 80s were the age that computer science has evolved to what it is now and users back then, had to figure all sorts of problems, that now, they just
don't even exist :) Learning history is always helpful :)
I'd love to write an article for NULL someday, once I'm more settled down here. :D
