    Offline huh!? Mystic BBS 1.12 has netmail support in QWKE mode. g00r00 just added that a alpha or three ago.. Along with more other things
    than I can remember now.. :)

    Cool! I must upgrade my system as soon as possible. :)

    Does writing/posting messages go smoothly? I notice that the WebJAM
    page *warns* about using in a write mode and suggests to just
    stick with read-only for now.

    I didn't use it much, because it was the only JAMbased thing in my whole schamozzle.. But it worked flawlessly... it just didn't support whatever nntp mode I was looking for.....I forget what that was now, but it wouldn't be a problem unless you were going to try and export via nntp to another nntp server....

    The only thing strange is you are coming from the future - but if I
    stand on my roof, I should be able to see where are?

    Isn't there something about time being relative? Its probably related to the mtcp ntp client. It doesn't recognise AEST or AEDT so its only UTC+11 at the moment... Otherwise it looks right?

    Shrug, I don't really have the answer... You get SET TZ=UTC-11 because the mtcp
    ntp client does it backwards.... after that I don't know what else sets the time zone.... I don't think I ever needed to before...

    I think it's much simpler: your editors don't support the TZUTC
    kludge. Most editors put the UTC time offset in the header of the
    message, like

    Dunno, I'm using iceedit. But even then it can only work with what gets handed to it eh. SBBS is the software de force, ~92 but it was already dead after that. I don't know where or when the reply kludge came from.

    @TZUTC: +1100

    Unfortunately also the REPLY kludge is missing from most of your
    messages, so they cannot be displayed within the conversation
    thread.

    Thats interesting. Theres two entry methods for message going on here. The bog
    standard SuperBBS inbuilt entry. This message is one of those, and the slower but friendlier to driver "The Reader" which is an external editor/reader.

    If I had to hazard a guess, I'd be thinking that SBBS has the right info and the reader is borked. But looking at this messages details ought to help sort that out.

    Thanks, it should be sorted now.. for some reason linux doesn't like it when you do :

    somestringstream.str().c_str()

    I have to do:

    std::string somestring = somestringstream.str();
    then somestring.c_str();

    it works on macOS and sometimes it works on linux but other times it puts out rubbish.
