    This was interesting. It supports the extra muscle requires more energy at rest theory. However it also suggests its not a great enough increase to make much overall difference. Only being 10's of Calories.

    Yes, I couldn't recall the exact figures. I'm not in a position to follow links right now, but would be interested to know the exact figures quoted. :)
